► Do you feel frustrated after yet another phone call from your child’s teacher about a behavior issue, knowing the teacher still doesn’t truly understand your child’s ADHD challenges?
► Are you worried sick that each tough day at school is chipping away at your child’s confidence and joy in learning?
► Does it break your heart to see your creative, energetic child come home in tears because they’ve been labeled “difficult” or “naughty” at school, despite trying so hard to be understood?
► Do you feel like you’re constantly fighting an uphill battle alone just to get the support and understanding your child needs at school?
► Have you sat through one school meeting after another, only to walk away feeling like no one truly hears you or understands what your child needs?
► Have you tried everything - reward charts, extra tutoring, heart-to-heart talks … yet still feel lost and scared as you watch your child struggle day after day?
Children with ADHD can have up to a 30% developmental delay with their Executive Functions.
The Executive Dysfunctions can include:
Motivation
Self Awareness
Problem Solving
Memory
Inhibition & Impulsivity
Emotional Regulation
Planning and Prioritisation
It is critical that children with ADHD are supported to strengthen their executive functions throughout schooling to close the developmental delay gap.
Imagine this:
You feel less overwhelmed after your child’s ADHD diagnosis, and walk away feeling more clear on what you and your child’s school can be doing to support their learning.
You’re on the same team! Your child’s teacher actually understands your child on a deeper level now, so you form a stronger relationship with your child’s school.
You are able to finally seek advice and support from a Primary School teacher, Certified ADHD coach and late diagnosed Mum with ADHD. You’re no longer second guessing yourself.
